Interesting distortion. I dislike the technique of distorting perspective if it’s only used in one direction, as it’s very obvious what has been done to the image. Here the image is more complicated -it seems to be distorted in several directions, which is quite unusual and puzzling.

The perspective distorted in several directions is a nice suggestive hint. It is able to generate the distortion like a spiral.
You are sharp, Stu : )

    I don’t know this movie.
You are really pro-Japan, Stu. I guess that you know the Japanese art scene more than Japanese.

Not really. I heard about this film from a friend of mine who is very interested in Japanese film. I read some of the Japanese authors whose work has been translated into English, and I watch some films, but it is difficult to find these works in the West, if you are not Japanese. I like the different perspective on the world that Japanese art offers.

I like how the vertical lines of the cables gives this image more impact when combined with the distortion. It feels like I’m falling into the photo.

    Yes, Kevin.
That site has been distorted yet in relation of city elements, roads, buildings and cable. I only overstated it a little…

    Great work Palla.
I wish I could go out more to take photos, but the temperature here in Toronto is -8.0 C right now and it gets dark too quickly!
